About
You are not hiring a tool. You are hiring the person who owns your federal number.
I am Simon Mwanzia, founder of GovTechPath. I spent six years in the United States Air Force and seven years in enterprise technology sales. GovTechPath is where those two careers meet: the discipline of military logistics and the results of high stakes selling, pointed at a single problem, helping small defense and homeland contractors win federal work.
The discipline came first
As a Staff Sergeant in Air Force air transportation, I was a load planner and joint inspector. My job was to take a set of unforgiving constraints, weight, balance, hazardous materials, aircraft limits, and mission priority, and build a plan that was compliant, optimized, and ready to pass inspection before anything left the ground. I was the one who certified the load was right. If the plan was wrong, it did not fly.
Federal capture is the same work. You read the constraints, Section L and M, set-aside rules, agency priorities, teaming, and you build a compliant, optimized plan that survives scrutiny. The cargo is different. The mindset is identical: get the details right, own the outcome, and put your name on the plan.
Then I learned to sell
Over seven years in enterprise technology sales, I carried real quotas against complex, long-cycle deals and consistently exceeded them, with recent quarters running well above 200 percent of target. I know how to build a pipeline from nothing, qualify hard, work through procurement, and close. That is the engine I bring to GovTechPath. The market is different, but pipeline discipline travels.
Why GovTechPath exists
Here is what bothers me. By law, the federal government has to spend a significant share of its contract dollars with small businesses, and it does, more than enough to change the trajectory of a small company. Yet most small contractors never claim their share. Not for lack of capability, but because no one on their team wakes up every day hunting federal opportunities, building the relationships, and running the captures. The work is a full-time job, and a full-time business development hire is a cost they cannot justify yet.
That gap is the entire reason GovTechPath exists. I help small defense and homeland businesses turn federal contracting into a real, repeatable revenue stream, without forcing them to stand up a sales department to do it.
How I work
You get senior judgment and real relationships, backed by an efficient research engine that lets one operator cover the ground of a whole team. Veteran owned, and held to the same standard I carried on the flight line: get it right, and own it.
